I’m a newbie with my first website and I’ve decided I want to use FoxyCart and MODx. I’m not sure which one to tackle first. Both will be a learning adventure for me. I’ve been reading as much as I can on both but still feel unsure about how to implement both. Should I install one and then the other, or both at the same time?? I will start out with about 20 products but want to gradually increase to around 100 items. Any help getting started would be wonderful! Is there a tutorial/screencast to help me with integrating them together? Thank you!

Here’s one that Chris did on integrating FoxyCart into WordPress. Might not be exactly what you’re looking for, but if it’s your first website, you might want to look into WP as a CMS as well. … nt-page-1/

You can’t ‘install’ FoxyCart as it’s a hosted solution. So you should probably tackle MODx first, then maybe read this article on integrating MODx with FoxyCart … ackage=160
