    Hello

I tried many plugins yet Google Pagespeed says:

“Remove Render-blocking Scripts” and it lists:

    1. http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.1/jquery.min.js?ver=1.7.1

    2. http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lora:400italic,700italic

If I use a minification plugin, Google says remove the minified script from <head>

    Please, can anyone help me?

    Thanks

    Hi Prickly,

I know the libraries are loading from the Google CDN but have you tried to enqueue the scripts at the bottom of the footer when all the elements have loaded, see if that makes a difference?

Just had a little Google for you and found this, on Google!, awesomesauce
here you go buddy: Blocking JS Info

    Hi Luke

I read the page a hundred times already, but can’t decipher. Technically I am a big zero. I need to do it in simple terms.

I tried them putting in footer, but then the slider on front page disappears.

Sorry for the late reply, but in Firefox, I logged in but it said “you need to be logged in to reply”. Now I used IE8 :-(
