    When hover on the main slider it jumps down alittle.

    Difficult to tell with all the javascript changes going on but I’ll keep looking.

    nivo-directionNav is switching between display: none and display: block

    I assume that when you hover over the slide it tries to show the navigation. According to: http://docs.dev7studios.com/jquery-plugins/nivo-slider you can disable the navigation by passing directionNav: false to the plugin when calling it.
