I’m quite prepared for the backlash from my discussion title but after scouring the web I’ve yet to find a decent explanation of what WordPress is and what it does for me as a developer…if anyone could educate me that’d be swell.
Wikipedia link for Content Management System should help. However, a description never really conveys quite how useful they are — my recommendation is to grab a copy, install it locally and give it a go!
