    Notice when you click on a link, the background image transforms to fill the whole page before you are taken to the next page. The result is the appearance of a near-instantaneous page load with a very smooth transition.

    It appears to be a one-page app, but I’m not sure!

    Does this effect have a name? And how is it achieved?

    Hi @adaw!

    It looks like custom pure javascript coding that uses css3 to achieve that effect. I don’t know of any other sliders that have a similar look, but there are lots of images sliders out there.
