This is the one I’m probably gonna try:

But is there anything out there that you guys use all the time? Has there ever been a tutorial on CSS Tricks?
Thanks for your help!
I’m here ;-)
I went looking for one of these as well, as the ones I’ve used/built, just weren’t quite right… The one you found and are testing is pretty cool.
I haven’t played with it enough to test your width question, but if I find a way, I’ll let you know.
I have been reading some responsive books lately, and I’m currently testing the model from Implementing Responsive Design by Tim Kadlec. We’ll see…

I agree. I ended up abandoning the method I mentioned (the one in the book). I have been tweaking the menu and came up with a modified version of this:
Very easy to set up and extend. Fits my needs perfectly, with minimal invasion ;-)
Thanks for the tips.
I don’t think I’ve ever used a plugin to achieve this functionality. Is there something about the functionality that you find particularly troubling/difficult that maybe you could work through with some help?
Here are some mobile menu patterns, podcast http://www.webpayload.com/podcast/1-brad-frost
Still learning mobile nav, so I’m experimenting. I have a mobile navigation example I built that I’m using in addition that is not that good yet. I think I wanted to see an example that worked well, so I could learn from it.
I found a cool article on this site that covers all the popular patterns that I might get into. Thanks, though.
