    Hi!
    Me and a buddy is gonna be working on a website together, but we need some kind of way to easily share and edit files etc..
    Any tips for some programs or anything, hopefully free

    Look into SVN or Git. But indeed, Dropbox would probably be the fastest/easiest solution.

    I agree that Git is better and more robust than Dropbox and that it’s probably the best choice.

    However, just to say that Dropbox has version control as well (though maybe that’s only the Pro version, not sure).

    Long live Git, down with Subversion!

    You can use Dropbox for static stuff (say if one of you is handling the design-y bits), but for code – as everyone has already said – go with Git(hub).
