    How do I make my webpage expand within the browser and stay centered? its centered now but has a gap on the left and right side.

    First of all, you still need to reduce your image sizes.

    To expand your background the full width of the browser, look into this: https://css-tricks.com/3458-perfect-full-page-background-image/

    If you’re looking to have your content expand, too, then you’ll need to start researching ‘Responsive Design’.
