My webpage is showing up differently on my server than on dreamweaver. The background image won’t show up and my buttons have spaces between them. Any ideas why and is it possibly the stylesheet not working on my server?

    Thankyou Sean.

Dreamweaver has a terrible live view…you should always test in actual browsers.

Without a live link we can’t diagnose what the actual problem(s) are.

    If your link is: http://childrenteachingchildren.org/

Then it looks like you’ve fixed some of the issues.

My link is childrenteachingchildren.org but my issues still remain.

    Thanks Sean

Whoa…that wasn’t the way it looked when I first found it.

    Have you changed something?

No for some reason my webpage isn’t yet updated on google chrome so that could be the reason why. I think the reason my webpage isn’t displaying properly is because of the stylesheet. Can you help in any way?

    Oh dear…Absolute positioning!

Sorry, in my opinion you’ve probably picked one of the worst ways to lay out a page. I’m not sure where to start.

I’m of the opinion that you should start all over again: http://learnlayout.com/

Definitely not. What is updated for one browser is updated for all.

Well sort of, see my previous post.

Well..not really but I know what you mean.

As long as users are on big screens you are fine. If you re-size the browser window I think you will see some issues.
