Web Developers who are not good at designing?

  • # July 20, 2009 at 2:48 pm

    Hello Friends,

I love to code and I like to design but am no good at the latter one. I wanted to discuss that if some one like me, who wants to create his own website or portfolio-site [rather redesign the existing one :P] then how should one go about it? :) I want this post/discussion to be of some help to anyone who is like me out there :D

The problem with something like that is figuring out who your target audience is going to be. If you can only code, then your target audience should have to be designers and other web developers, instead of people looking for a website.

You can hire a designer to produce a quality design for you, or I suppose you could look to purchasing a template (though it’s important that you do not claim it as your own design).
