Interesting thread. I was also just reading this relevant article on .net magazine which you might be interested in reading http://j.mp/k5J5FQ
and regards pen & paper comment. As linked in article above, see http://j.mp/mEXMID
My 2 cents. You’re missing out on things like prototyping and collaboration by using a desktop app — try a good online app like LucidChart and you won’t go back.
Most of people use the Photoshop for designing. Digitallabz is a one of the famous web designing and Search engine optimization company.Here, we are use the different technique for designing. Thanks for sharing the information.
Ive started using Balsamiq Mock up in front of clients, and they love it! I even let them loose on my laptop and they give me a clear view of what they want first hand
@OniLinkCR
What do you think I’m using my server for?
I hope it’s to test. :p. I thought you were using the option that Dreamweaver has to test a page on a temp location.
I use that for rapid prototyping of static pages, but anything dynamic I upload to the server.
@ChrisBull I am wondering the same thing. I think Photoshop is unintuitive and like Fireworks more. I haven’t had problems exporting the html/css either for Dreamweaver or static sites, but I am trying to make the transition to PS because I strictly do WordPress design now. It seems that everyone uses that to for exporting to WordPress. I wish I could find a decent video tutorial for Fireworks to WordPress theme tho…
