    how is it possible that in all tutorials they say
    YOU CAN DROP the type part for your style + script

    http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/present/styles.html
    while specs says

    14.2.3 Header style information: the STYLE element

    type %ContentType;  #REQUIRED -- content type of style language --

    That is the HTML4 spec. You can safely drop it in HTML5.
