I’m new to CSS and there are some terms I don’t yet understand. Validation is one of them. Hacks is the other.
I just read the previous thread about validation. Though I don’t understand the need for validation. Isn’t what matters is that you test in all browsers?
Making sure a site validates is a quick way to make sure that your site will function properly across all browsers.
Hacks are used in CSS to make specific browsers (mostly older versions of Internet Explorer) to function properly. An example would be the min-height hack for IE6.
