I am very new to responsive design and learning different ways to add a banner on responsive design. There are lots of different options but it seems to me that adding svg format banner would be easy. It will resize nicely and I don’t have to add extra code.

If I add background image and add text on top, I need to add lot of code to format text and align etc. Let me know if you have used svg banner before. Thank you!

Indeed there are many ways to go about this. Depending on your needs/use case, consider using SVG masks with or without clipping paths, or think about the option of converting text to outlines for easier manipulation/animation. BTW, these examples are having the SVG inline in the HTML, (not as background-image,) so there’s that.
