I’m on a shared host and my web page is blocked because of high server load. My blog is not a famous one and the page views is not more that 1000 in a day. In order to ensure from the malwares and etc, I formatted the whole host and installed the wordpress again, then recovered the posts and images, but the problem didn’t solved.
The host provider told me that don’t it’s unknown for him (and also can’t check the logs because it’s a shared host).
There is no specific plugin installed.
What do you think and what else to check?
Have somebody any idea about this?

I’d say get a different host.
If you can’t — install Google Analytics and/or another tool that analyzes your visitor statistics. If there really is a high load of traffic, you can see where it would come from.

+1. There is no valid reason they wouldn’t be able to look at the log files.
