I’m using the “Bagua” Tumblr theme for my blog and am wondering how to expand the width of the header and the footer so that they take up the full width of the blog. I would also like to make the header start from the top of the page and “sticky” the footer to the bottom. Here’s the CSS, and here’s the blog.
My suggestion would be to remove the width from #column, and add it as max-width (or just width, though I personally like to keep it fluid) to #content. Then get rid of the margin for #header and #footer, and set the horizontal margins of #content to auto… there might be more you need to change to make it look like you want it, but that should get you on the right track I hope.
