transparency css was working but now its not

i made a previous post trying to get the #main div in Thesis to be transparent in IE, and thankfully i got it to work, now iv switched to Thematic framework and im not having much luck even though i copied the css over..

Unfortunately, rgba is not supported in IE8 and lower, so you’ll need to use some workarounds to make it work. Here’s an article that Chris wrote about this very topic!
