I’ve been searching and trying without any good knowledge of JavaScript but what I would like to do looks so damn sexy and easy but for some reason it’s not.

This screenshot I found on Dribbble and it inspired me to make a minimal comment-form.

How difficult can it be to hide a div that holds the toolbar-stuff of a random TinyMCE -script and let it pop-up as a tooltip when you select some text inside a textarea or input – Display none + block on a div element based on text-selection. ?

I can’t believe this hasn’t been done before in a world where Less is everything today.

I found a tooltip based on text-selection, but it has a JS error when you deselect or at multiple clicks I believe.

Lets hope the screenshot inspires some people to jump at CodePen and work this out. I think it’s really cool stuff.

Wow, this is exactly what I was looking for..

I already signed up for jQuery Essentials today so lets start learning this weekend.

Thank You So Much, for this code-snippet.
