    Hey I want to now how to make a Latest sidebar with only the title and a thumbnail like http://demo.arrastheme.com/.
    And a search like http://demo.arrastheme.com/?s=d
    I am working with a starkers theme

    Have you tried using the Firefox plug-in, Firebug? It allows you to see the code (HTML, PHP, CSS, et cetera) of any website. It even allows you to edit the code so you can see an immediate change in the website’s design to see what each bit of code is doing on the page. If you have not already, I would suggest getting the Firebug plug-in and check out whatever website you want to emulate.

    That would be where I would start, at least.

    I do not think that Firebug can show the php or another plug-in.
    I really need help can anyone help me?

    @mwdewitt, you can’t view php in firebug. All you will see is the html that php renders.

    TheDoc is write you will have to use the featured image function in your search results template! As for the sidebar your probs have to create a new image size with the add image size function!
