    Hi guys,

Long time lurker, first time poster . . .

Thoughts on the best way to create the “answer bubble” surrounding the text. I’ve given you a series of them, but it’s just the bubble that I am currently pondering.

IE 7+ friendly and no js.

If you need it all browser-compatible, why not make it an image background?

    I could, except — but you’d . . . .ok . . .

Yes, I could do that, but then (unless I’m thinking about it incorrectly) there might be issues with different screen widths).

Thank you — I’m a designer who doesn’t always have to do her own CSS. (Although lately I’ve been doing most of my own CSS). So the subtleties/options/solutions can get a bit rusty — if not completely overwhelming.

If it were me, I would use CSS3 (border, border radius & rgba colors) and then an image and IE hack to make it cross-browser compatible in IE, (otherwise you’ll have solid colors and square corners in IE).
