I hope someone can help me out. I am trying to put together a homepage with 5 pictures, each of which needs to link to a page. I have placed a copy of the picture on my website like this:
http://www.talentenzoeker.nl/test/
Can this be done at all without using tables? I am making my website in WP, but I guess this is a CSS-issue.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Where are the images…I’m seeing nothing.
There are a number of ways you could do this. with a list, with 5 divs, a table (if you must) and others.
It depends on what you want and how WP will render them.
Hi Paulie, Thanks for your reply. I didn’t think about the fact that I use a Under Construction page, and if you are not logged in, you can’t see the rest of the site. So, here’s another go on another site: http://www.helenbakker.nl/test/talentenzoeker/testpage/
I have tried 5 divs, and the z-index, but that keeps me puzzling for a good deal of the evening now. I think if you look at the picture you will see what I mean.
Hope you have some good ideas?
Like @Paulie_D said, there are a number of options. I think this one could work for you (with a little tweaking): http://jsfiddle.net/senff/RHcCs/2/
I have no experience with it (or WP for that matter) but jQuery Masonry might be what you are looking for, especially if you do not know the image sizes.
