Text Selection

  • # August 21, 2012 at 10:28 am

I’m not sure where this stems from (markup? css?) but why is it that sometimes when you select text inside a div the “selection” background color goes beyond the bounds of the div? In other words, it’s not just selecting the text…
Anyone encountered this? Is there a way to fix it?

Can you give an example…can’t say I’ve ever seen it.

Ah yes, I have seen this before… I can’t remember at all what causes it, though.

But don’t worry, it’s not actually selecting more stuff, it’s still only selecting the text.

@Paulie_D : I wanted to attached an example, but of course now I can’t find one…

@TheDoc: I was curious from a design perspective more than anything….
