    Safari (6/7) is rendering text thinner when using fixed positioning. As you can see in the examples below, the output is equivalent to using -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;. Anyone know of a way to correct this?

    This Article on Stack Overflow deals with the same issue and provides a “solution”, which in my example fails to work.
