Tabbed Interface does not work in IE7

My tabbed interface does not work in IE 7. It appears that the background image just disappears when you click on tabs 2 through 4. Thus, you cannot see the tabs once they are clicked on. Here is the page with the tabbed interface on the righthand column under the photo. Also they seem to load slowly…

Thanks for any help you can provide as I have been working on this for two days now.

I had used the tutorial in the magazine CSS Design Essentials for jQuery page 174 if anyone has that magazine.

Seems that the root is in the script, as it doesn’t apply position:absolute; and display:none; to the actual content blocks.

Could be because the script is not compatible with IE7, not sure.
