Sudden Joomla template explosion in IE

  • # October 29, 2012 at 5:12 am

Looking for some help on something that has me puzzled.

This Joomla website homepage and internal pages have been working for ages in IE, but just exploded the other day. Loading fine in all other browsers (Safari, chrome, FF etc).

Tricky thing is that no one has been in the CSS as far as I am aware. It is looking tragic in IE and I have had little luck problem solving it.

I would be so appreciative for any help, ideas or feedback.

    Many thanks

Before the DOCTYPE declaration, there’s an iFrame and XML declaration that shouldn’t be there. Make sure DOCTYPE is what comes first or else the page will go into quirks mode.

I am so very grateful for your help… it turned out to be malicious code, so I have instructed the client to look at security and change the passwords etc. Again, thank you!
