    Hey
    I have created a CSS only horizontal nav that works brilliantly in Firefox and Chrome but bombs out seriously in any IE where the hovers work but the sub menus just don’t appear.

    Any suggestions as to what I need to do?

    Have a look at how this CSS dropdown menu is made.
    The dropdown works correctly on IE6+ with javascript enabled and IE7+ without javascript enabled.
