Hi I am trying to style a fixed navigation bar. I am not understanding why ie puts extra pixels on what lines up perfectly in other browsers. I have posted an example on CodePen:example

Extra pixels where and in which version of IE?

Are you using a CSS reset or Modernizr?

If you notice in the example the rollovers extend pass the height of the bar in ie. I am using a normalize CSS file and I plan to use Modernizer, and I don’t know if you need both? Do you need both? You asked the right question, thank you so much. I was wondering about this when starting to build site. Will Modernizer have an effect on li and a tag styling? Thanks
