sticky footer weirdness

  • # January 5, 2009 at 8:27 am

I can’t figure out why the main-col div is overlapping the sticky footer at the bottom of the page.

I think it has to do with the floating of the other blocks above the footer, which are the sidebar and the main-col.

    any help is much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,

    hey :)

Try putting your push div after your page wrap div, and not inside it. At the moment its adding 200px you took off back on to the bottom of your page wrap :)

I think i’m a pretty smooth IDIOT! lol

because i just found that their was a height to the main-col div, obviously not allowing it to expand to the content…

thanks for the help, though i did move the div like you mentioned.
