I’ve never setup an SSL cert before. From what I’ve gathered I have a file that resides on my server (that’s provided by who ever I got the cert from), and in my PHP I check a key against that file? Is that correct?
Is there a way to make a fake cert to use to setup my PHP ahead of time? I’m coding the site on a dev server and the
clients hosting isn’t ready and neither is their cert.
Any other info you can provide to make this easier would be great, thanks!
