Hi – I have a horizontal sub menu that needs to push down the content below it. However, if I change the positioning to relative on line 39, it messes up the top row (it gets really deep). I tried a few things and now here:

Just a thought, as content jumping around can be annoying, why not add an appropriate padding to the top of the content? 45px seems perfect to me.
yes, good point.. I’d started in that direction but couldn’t quite get comfortable with the white gap… still looking for a solution so that I can decide between the two.

Right then.. so opinions. I can’t decide if I like the menu pushing down the content or not. Would like some of you to chime in.
I’m not a fan at all, it is unnatural behaviour. I personally feel that having the content shift position when hovering on the menu is a terrible idea.
