I am trying to get my head around how to set up a web template using php includes.

One of the major things I was wanting to do is create multiple sidebars, one for each category of my site.
I also would like to create a different menu for each category, and so on…
There are a couple more ideas regarding adsense files and blah blah, but I wont bore you with the details.
I have read quite a few tuts on the subject but I still seem to be getting a little confused.

When I use the basic include that I seem to see everywhere

I just cant seem to get it to work.

If any one could help me get started with this I would really appreciate it heaps.

The code I have is very basic only a couple of empty divs, at the moment I have tried to use the include but as I mentioned cant figure it out.The test site is here…

I didn’t realize I was still using .html I changed to .php and is now working.
