In Web 2.0 designs, you’ll see this a lot: http://www.premiumpixels.com/elegant-login-form-design-psd/. Subtle grainy textures & backgrounds. In Photoshop, do you just make them with textures? Or do you use some other method? Thanks.

What are you asking about specifically? There are a lot of elements on the page. Are you referring to the design of the website or the login form it is displaying?

Sorry for not being specific. In many elements there are subtle grains, but it’s most evident in his background. Do you see what I mean?

    Try googling ‘add noise tutorial’

For future searchers, I found my solution here: http://www.sohtanaka.com/web-design/noise-texture-in-photoshop/.

Thanks dryan1144, I didn’t know what it was called.
