    I just created my website http://www.photodelphia.org/lightupandlisten via all the wonderful info here. THANKS CHRIS

    however… I’m simply trying to put Flickr thumbs on my sidebar. I ‘ve come across several flickr widgets, however, even though my custom theme says widgets are allowed…. when I activate the flickr widget, or any widget for that matter, it does not work / show up.

    any solutions? thanks in advance

    Well, I was able to manually insert code into the sidebar with the help of a plugin. The flickr is now working on my site. However, I was and am still unable to activate widgets into the sidebar via the WP admin.

    What can do to troubleshoot this?

    It wasn’t.

    thanks for the link! I actually found the code in the diggin for wordpress pdf I just bought. That thing is a sweet resource already.
