I’m building a personal portfolio site, and started to develop a twitter stream of recent tweets – but then I realized it seemed silly to have multiple streams for different media (i.e. facebook, twitter, youtube, and flickr).

Are there any great ways to stream multiple social sources into one list-style feed for a website? The solution needs to be fully stylable via css. Thanks all!

Looks like Chris Coyier wrote a tutorial for a WordPress version of this over at net.tutsplus.com in 2008. However, Sweetcron has died and there are probably more recent ways of doing this. I’ll keep looking.

Chris Spooner over at line25.com wrote a tutorial that makes use of RSS feeds to create a slick lifestream page. The demo is still live and he links back to css-tricks for a screencast on “Adding RSS Content with SimplePie.” This is all from 2009. Looks slick, possibly what I’m looking for.
