I am not very involved with e-commerce, the only system I have ever used is WP-Ecommerce but it is so buggy and has so many serious problems with it that never seem to get resolved, and users are just left to hack around pretty much every action they try to perform with it.
I have been looking into Magento its pretty big in the UK but I don’t want to waste my time and money on books for an e-commerce system that isn’t all that great only to find out after a shed load of wasted time.
I have also heard open cart is good. Can anyone make any good recommendations without too steap a learning curve. I am no PHP expert I can just about hack my way around wp-ec but I still want a system I can theme.
