Hi, just wondering what everyone’s favorite method to achieve smooth scrolling is these days. Most of the ways I’ve found only work one way or on a single ID (for example: back to top).
On the next site I build I’d like to do something like: http://diablomedia.com/
Do you mean the parallax effect on the entire page?
check this out http://www.richardshepherd.com/smashing/parallax/background.html
Something like this? http://jsfiddle.net/senff/X8Hns/
@karlpcrowley, i wasnt thinking of utilizing the parallax effect for this but that’s still really cool. thanks for the link.
@Senff, thanks a lot man, that’s perfect, i think i’ll make the nav sticky so they dont have to go back to top to navigate the site.
Based from Melissa Hee‘s Site: http://jsfiddle.net/tovic/U7zE3/embedded/result/
@hompimpa like a sir! :D
ooh fancy @Hompimpa
@hompimpa would you mind If I use that fiddle as a starting point for one of my projects?
@karlpcrowley: Ask to Melissa. I am not a designer, so it does not matter. Even, I don’t know about Melissa :p
Microsoft should’ve asked Melissa to make their Windows Phone site lol
Hey @Hompimpa, that link to melissa’s site is broken and i didnt find anything when googling ‘Melissa Hee’.
i’d love to see what she did on her site. can you please fix the link?
I don’t understand. This should be accessible, but not for now -..-?
