Slow load times… sometimes. WORDPRESS

Hey Guys,

I recently launched a fashion blog for a client, powered by wordpress at:
http://myfashdiary.com

They are getting some feedback from some people that there are slow load times and 404 pages appearing when it does load. any ideas of a reason why? Can anyone run some sort of diagnostics? Seems to be loading okay on my end.

A little background info, we developed a custom WP theme which is running wordpress 3.2. The data from the old site, which was run on blogger was migrated using the built in wordpress tools and a redirect was put on the blogger theme to have a 1 to 1 mapping of all posts.

I’ve tried your web site with Google Chrome 12.0.742.124 under Ubtuntu 11.04.

It takes about 1 min to load the page, the main reason is “http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js”.

I have no access to this js file(because it’s blocked by GFW), and before this file is loaded, none of the rest content will be shown :(.

So I guess when user have slow connection to Twitter, they have to wait a long time before the js is loaded.
