Site appears larger online compared to local

  • # March 15, 2013 at 7:32 pm

I’m a newbie at running a local server to work on my designs.
But I noticed and wanted to know is when I open the index.html straight it is smaller than when I run i through MAMP or online.

Can anyone spread some light if they know?

I have attached an image to explain.

Any differences in zoom or default fontsize settings?

@CrocoDillon Holy! You were right. When you straight open a .html file it has zoom set to 75%.
    I’m on chrome BTW.
    Is this normal?

Nope, not normal. I can only guess here, maybe you accidentally zoomed out once and Chrome remembered that zoom level for local only. I’m too lazy to test :P Glad it’s solved.
