Simple jQuery Dropdown in IE 7 spacing between LIs

  • # August 12, 2009 at 7:24 pm

I built a menu using Chris’ Simple jQuery Dropdown as a guide. The problem that I am running into is in IE 7 the background image does not fill the LI, but is only present behind the text. The menu works fine in all other browsers including IE6. I have tried specifying height on the LI, changing margins on LI and UL. The problem can be seen at . I have also attached an image of what IE 7 renders.

well without diving into it to much, I am wondering if this could be a float problem in your css? Do you have them and did you clear them? This will sometimes cause things like this to happen.
