Im setting up a Sharethis button for my homepage
The Sharethis wizard gives me
<span class=’st_sharethis_large’ displayText=’ShareThis’></span>
This shows you their image and when you hover it displays the options window.
Its very neat but their button doesn’t fit the pages layout, they say they dont mind customization but the instructions (as a lot of people point out on the internet) dont work, or at least they point you in a direction where you end up in a very difficult to interpret javascript file.
Ive been through copying the file and trying to adjust it but then I thought it
might be possible to either –
– use class = st_sharethis_large to make my button click behave in the same way and use css to make the other button transparent
– make their button completely transparent but hover it over my image so it behaves as required
Please can you tell me which approach you think I should use and would be the simplest, if you have done it before or know of a similar solution.
