    Is there a good way to add a hover shine to a button other than applying an opacity filter?

    Specifically could I add an inner glow to and area that already has a bg image active? I know I could achieve this by using a sprite and altering the image but I prefer to make it just glow if that is possible.

    Thanks thats exactly what I wanted but doesnt look quite how I want… *sigh* guess Ill suck it up and make a sprite.

    Hompimpa very very close… I like the look but need to constrain it to the buttons currently on the site. http://hawkspizza.com/newsite/ any ideas?

    Sorry to be so delayed in response and thank you that works great in chrome but IE8 and IE9 not so much. I love it but is there some CSS I can throw in that will make it behave in these two browsers?
