How can I send images using a form on a website?
I have a nice form with some ordinary inputs, I have an input field of type=´file´
, I´ve got enctype=´multipart/form-data´
, I can access the camera on a mobile device, I have a php mail script running (its actually an elderly one at the bottom of this page: https://css-tricks.com/creating-a-unique-contact-for/), I have form validation, I have everything up and running, except that images won´t be processed and sent via the form. No problems with the ordinary inputs, though.
You can see and try it here: http://www.quaft.de/thing.html
I need help down here, its technical!
Do I need to store the images somewhere, so they can be processed?
Do I need some PHP trickery to get the files processed and sent?
What is the best way to do it all?
Hey, some folks sent me emails and managed to trick my form validation – how did you do that?
Ok, I give up. Probably try PHPMailer.
