    Hi,
    Is there some simple way I can stop the search box from sitting in front of the logo or even for the logo to size smaller so it sits to the left of the search box (for small screens)? Have played around with percentage and z-index but strange things happen! If I sit the logo in front I lose my links on top. Many thanks.

    Update: Fixed it. Took out my z-index’s and made everything relative.

    Hi Ailsa

    When i resize my window the search box does indeed seem to come in-front of the logo

    //# header

    has z-index at 0, if i changed this even to 10 the search box goes behind the logo but the logo is see through

    Thanks maknib – think we posted at the same time! I’ve been making css very difficult for myself. So removing z-index seemed to work and setting my header similar to the main content (taking away % and adding padding to right).
