I have a few phone numbers that are required to be accessible to phones as possible.
My iPhone behaves as it should, the number has a certain style applied by the mobile Safari, hover over it with my finger, and it can be called or saved. My co-worker with a BB said they are not working properly on their phone.
I personally don’t know much about BBs. Is there anything that could be user-error, not obvious, etc?
Link?
It’s on a dev site and I can’t really link to it :(
What’s a good option to show you what’s up?
I’m just showing a phone number on a site in plain-text. I’m not sure how to ‘tag’ it otherwise so it’s seen as a phone number, and not just plain ol’ text.
Ex:
<div class="phone">555-555-5555</div>
never fails… ask you guys… figure it out.
I had to do as such
`<a href="tel:555-555-5555">555-555-5555</a>`
Works on all phones in the office.
Indeed…I think this is useful: http://www.mobilexweb.com/blog/click-to-call-links-mobile-browsers
awesome reference thanks
