Hello everyone, I’ll be the first to admit that I know very little about jquery but right now I’m trying to determine wether or not this is even possible? is it possible to create a jquery rotating image slider that is powered by an RSS feed. Simply put, the Title, image description, image path, and link each slider image would point to would be embedded in an RSS feed. When a new item is added to the RSS feed, the slider would show a new image.

In our Sitecore CMS, we have an RSS powered FLASH banner but I would prefer the banner were not flash.

    Thanks for your help!

Yes, you can. [Here is an example](http://jsfiddle.net/Mottie/ycUB6/65/) of AnythingSlider loading images from a Flickr feed (JSON, not RSS).

If you don’t have a JSON source, you’ll probably resort to using the [Google Feed API](http://code.google.com/apis/ajax/playground/#load_feed) (or better yet [try this plugin](http://jquery.malsup.com/gfeed/)), which no longer needs an API key to use.
