I have a menu item set to registered only and it works correctly. It only shows when members are logged in. However on the homepage I have a table with div containers containing images, linked to menu items. But when someone clicks the linked image the page will show to everyone instead of registered members only.
How can I fix this to only show for registered members only when clicked and if not logged in or a member it will load the sign in page?

This a Joomla 3x website also.

So another way of asking this question in short would have been….

How can I force the user to sign in when trying to access (click) an external link that is linking back to a restricted for members only menu item? And would redirect the user to either become a memeber or sign in.

Thanks again for any and all help!

This is probably a question better suited to the Joomla forums
