Hi all,
Been trying to follow this guide – https://css-tricks.com/how-to-resizeable-background-image/
Only problem is that im trying to implement it onto my vBulletin based website – http://www.eteknix.com
Due to it being vBulletin, the code is cut up into templates etc… so am unsure how and what to put where and how big my image should be etc…
As you can see, my site uses a fluid layout at 78% so that the body of the site resizes for the resolution you’re using, due to that i’m unsure how to do a background image that pops out the side.
Here is an example of what i want to do – http://www.hardwareheaven.com – As you can see, the background image is sized in such a way so that the background works as an image coming out of the side of the body.
Is Js the way to go or Jquery or CSS?
Can anyone here help before i go bald from ripping out my hair? lol
Thanks,
Andy
