REQUEST: CSS/JS Nav menu

I’m looking for a css/js nav menu that will stay open when on a current page.
I found a great tutorial, but I need it to stay open via JS when on a specific page.
eg.

if on a certain page, show a certain sub nav menu item

This tutorial is what I would like to base this off of…

But don’t I need JS to keep the menu open?

@mottie: I really don’t care about the sprites… i just liked the simplicity of the dropdown nav. I’m just unsure of how to get the menu to stay open based the current page.

Anyone:
Will the menu stay open and show sub nav based on CSS? Or JS?
