    I would like to do something similar to this: http://www.parkcitymountain.com/winter/ … _Trail_Map for an application of mine but not use Flash. Basically my app is similar and would show/hide bike trails.

    Is it a good idea to use Javascript and a bunch of transparent PNGs? Would there be any advantages if I used Google Web Toolkit?

    Pretty cool! Thanks for sharing.

    It appears that I need a plugin to get SVG to work in IE though… kinda sucks.
