reak simple problem with jquery slider -why doesn’t it work?

Hi guys,

I am so freaking frustrated at the moment. i have put a jquery slider on my blog. i have experience with jquery and i have copied the files over, but all the pics are stacked on top of each other as if the jquery isn’t working… but the words that come up alongside the pics are coming through via jquery and thats;s working fine.

please help me before i melt!!
